so what if we turned this community into a game? instead of people just randomly posting here and there with suggestions or stories, why don't we provide incentive to get people off of their asses and do weird shit?

-i am willing to provide a monthly prize.
-i need volunteer judges and record-keepers. (lj user="accruedfromage", i'm lookin' at you)
-i need ideas as to how to construct/conduct this game, the rules, etc.
-we need a flashy new userinfo page to explain the game.
-i think we may need some kind of a waiver form or agreement that people have to agree to for liability, but i don't know anything about that stuff.

my ideas so far:
-if anybody gets arrested/fined for carrying out a challenge, they automatically win the month.
-there should be some kind of bonus points for the challenge being executed in a politically/socially/emotionally/intellectually relevant manner.
-there should also be bonus points for the challenge being executed in a completely bold (stupid) manner.
-pictures documenting the entire challenge are necessary for verification.
-you do not have to participate in the challenge every single month unless you want to.
-you must state your intention to participate for the month within one week of the challenge being posted.

other ideas? is this exciting at all?

$12,750 In your Paypal,Stormpay or E-Gold Account or we keep adverising!
You will also have unrestricted access to the MONEY4TODAY software e-pak, it is full of programs, e-books and tools to teach you all you need to know to make fast substantial profits online

$12,750 In your Paypal,Stormpay or E-Gold Account or we keep adverising!

Others will charge you $25! This is only $15! If you are sceptical about this sort of scheme, surely it is better to make a $15 payout than a $25 payout?

The cure for the common boredom! [Sep. 14th, 2004|09:14 pm]

I've found the cure for boredom.

Its a simple, but addictive online game. Its a text based role playing type game, where you advance in levels and buy items with the gold you earn. Its completely free, and loosely based on the Harry Potter novels ( But having not read them, or seen the movies.. I still intensely enjoy this game! ). So please, come on over and check it out.

Send me an owl post through the game if you get stuck and need any help! :)
